Dr. Beard attended the 24th Annual Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) Consortium Meeting on March 15th and 16th in Portland, Oregon. The meeting focused on "Advancing Translational Research on Central Nervous Systems (CNS) Barriers: Development, Disease, and Trauma."
Dr. Beard has had the pleasure of mentoring both INBRE Undergraduate Fellows and high school-to-college STEM Transition Trainees this summer through Idaho's INBRE program at Boise State University.
